We work together to defend the interests of our associates.
The association was created in 2001, with three founding partners: Lusoponte, Autoestradas do Atlântico and Aenor. In 2005, Brisa and Brisal joined and, in 2013, there was the greatest organic growth with the incorporation of the members of the extinct association of SCUT concessionaires, with 21 members. Currently there are 24 APCAP road concessionaires or subconcessionaires companies in the Mainland, Madeira and Açores, managing 3580 km of toll motorways and highways with and without tolls with the highest standards of safety and assistance to users. It is the third largest European association affiliated to ASECAP (Association Européenne de Sociétés Européennes d’Autoroutes et Ouvrages à Péage), with 21 members and of which Portugal was a founding member.
