APCAP Members
The association was created in 2001, with three founding partners: Lusoponte, Autoestradas do Atlântico and Aenor. In 2005, Brisa and Brisal joined and, in 2013, the greatest organic growth took place with the incorporation of the members of the extinct SCUT concessionaires association, which now has 21 members, with 24 concessionaires or road sub-concessionaires on the Continent, Madeira and Azores, managing more than 3600 km of toll and non-toll highways and expressways with the highest standards of safety and assistance to users. Currently, with the last statutory revision, it has 20 members who are responsible for a network of 3321km. It is the third largest European association affiliated to ASECAP (Association Européenne de Sociétés Européennes d’Autoroutes et Ouvrages à Péage), covering 20 countries representing 135 concessionary companies and of which Portugal was a founding member.
