The Costa de Prata concession was awarded to Ascendi Costa de Prata, Autoestradas da Costa de Prata, SA, in May 2000, through an international public tender. With a length of 105 km, it allows a quick and safe connection between the main coastal locations south of Porto, challenging travelers to discover a new alternative to reach Lisbon. The Concession includes design, construction, financing and operation and maintenance, for a period of 30 years.
